When Siemens and Gamesa (SGRE) merged, we needed to create an Africa brand manifesto including messaging for Siemens Gamesa’s priority markets of South Africa, Morocco and Egypt.

When Siemens and Gamesa (SGRE) merged, we needed to create an Africa brand manifesto including messaging for Siemens Gamesa’s priority markets of South Africa, Morocco and Egypt.

Reaching Right across Africa.

Based on the messaging we developed, SGRE asked us to lead the paid media campaign across their three markets.

We designed 42 digital adverts and five print adverts in English, Arabic and French. Working in partnership with Mindshare, the team develop a paid media campaign across various print and digital (banner adverts, LinkedIn and programmatic buying) channels in all three key markets.

We developed a two-minute corporate video to profile SGRE and for use as a sales tool, refreshed a quarterly internal newsletter to build awareness of its African activities with staff beyond local borders, drafted internal articles for the intranet to highlight positive news stories and helped build SGRE’s external profile by drafting and distributing announcements in key markets.

PR Leading from the Front.

We distributed eight announcements and secured 158 articles in influential publications in the key markets with a readership of 30 million.

We also improved the look and feel plus the content of the merged entity’s newsletter with positive feedback received from management and employees who felt they were now more involved in and aware of company activities.
